Coti Howell was born and raised a music lover, and growing up in Nashville only increased her love affair with music. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate cut her teeth in journalism as a television reporter for the campus news station before working as an on-air reporter for Inside Music Row. There she interviewed country artists at venues including the world-famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge and Cumberland Caverns. She took some time off to travel and lived abroad in Bangkok before returning to the States to rejoin her one true love: Music Journalism. Coti worked as the entertainment reporter for AL.com in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and interviewed artists outside of country, including insanely talented artists like Mat Kearney and Jake Shimabukuro. It didn’t take long for Coti to miss Nashville and she moved back to freelance for Nashville publications (Taste of Country, Country Weekly, NASH), take on various other writing gigs and freelance social media management (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). In her spare time, she loves traveling the world, tweeting, shopping, spending time with friends and family and, of course, going to live shows!
