Sunday Hanoi Travel Vlog

Sunday is a little different in Hanoi, Vietnam. Things change on that day. Streets shut down to fill with motorized cars, dancers and tons of kids. They spend time with their friends, family and rely on the kindness of strangers to learn English.

If you find yourself in Hanoi on a Sunday, don’t try to take your own motorbike. Instead, get a ride and spend the day walking (wear your comfy shoes) around the lake. Don’t be surprised if you have to dodge little kids in motorized cars and dancers in the street. It’s just a typical Sunday in Hanoi.

When you’re on our ywalk, you may be stopped by schoolkids looking to learn English. Sit down and chat with them for a few minutes. They’re incredibly sweet and really eager to learn more about our language and culture.
